Am I the only one that finds it funny how Feminists preach about equal pay and rights for the Female Gender, but fail to grasp that they are being sexist as well in their statements little example of something I read
"I'm not sexist Woman can't be sexist it's strictly a Male profession" <- I seriously hope this was a Troll comment, but I don't actually know.
anyways...
You get these people who will preach on and on about how women can do everything just as well as men, if not better than their male counterparts and how they deserve equal pay and other crap yet are the same kinda people that will scream and shout at their boyfriend and, kick, punch, bite, slap.
Said person because of argument but as soon as the bloke decides to swing back he is automatically in the wrong now I don't know about you people but I personally feel if a women preaches on about being an equal to men they should get all the Advantages and Disadvantages of being said equal and if they ever try to pull the "I'm a woman card" should automatically lose those privileges.
I understand this kinda conversation will always swing around in roundabouts but I feel I needed to share my thoughts and vent a little bit.

I am 100% for equal rights and the fair treatment of women... Some would say that would make me a feminist, but I tend to tell people that I'm not (Which I've again been bitched at for my use of the phrase "I'm not a feminist")
Generally the reason why I'm not a feminist is because I see feminism these days fighting about a million different wars on different fronts... I've seen feminists fighting against other feminists... I've seen feminists which are really just big on misandry... I am not a feminist because the word means so many different things. Like, if we were talking about something like sexism in video games, I couldn't say "I side with the feminists" on that because I've seen feminists fighting on both side of that fence. I can't even say that I side with feminists on topics like rape, seeing as I've seen feminists say the best way to deal with that is to castrate men as children... In fact, I don't think I can honestly say "I side with the feminists" on ANY topic because on EVERY topic, feminism doesn't have a clear consensus.
Feminism as "Equality in all forms and the fair treatment of women" is great, and should be used ethically person to person as a means of bettering oneself... But as a movement it's got no focus like it's had in the past. There's a faction of women and white-knight men who yell out against things like sexism in video games, and they tend to scream out pretty loudly, but it's not the same as a huge outcry from the majority of women for the rights to work and vote.
TL;DR- Feminism is a good thing for oneself, but feminism as a movement lacks focus

I agree with you, it's the Hypocrisy that some Feminists spout which baffles me.

Indeed, just try not to tar them all with the same brush... If you dismiss someone the second they say they are a feminist then it just shows you as a bit closed-minded... Every group of people will have their own bad apples so to speak... It's important to remember we're all individuals

Rude text.To put it bluntly! I understand that, I wait for the person to speak first then I judge what they're saying.

Now that women have the vote they can vote for whatever man they want in power.
I quite like the below video on the matter, if our perceptions don't change nothing else will.

Yeah, boys and girls ARE different and thats the way it is but we can have the same rights and privileges and that's going to require BOTH of us to change. Personally, I'm trying my very best.
The "run like a girl" is in context. If I told a woman she runs like a girl because her run is weak then that is a sexist insult to woman. Even in an attempt at a brand of humor, that just doesn't stick in 2015. Not like it did in the early 90s...
but if I told a guy he hits like a girl that doesn't necessarily mean it's an insult to woman. I mean, can I say he hits like a chipmunk instead or would I offend the chipmunks??? Social perspective is the difference. If women are already seen as inferior, then telling a man he "runs like a girl" is going to be insulting. Truth is, women naturally have to work harder to run. Nature prepping them for child birth means the chest, thighs and hips are going to form to cater to that and they WILL run DIFFERENTLY. That doesn't mean better or worse than a man. Anyway...
Guys. Let the women have their feminism. Let's stand back and see how that works out for them. It won't.
Girls. Let them men have their guy stuff. They put themselves in a box. They don't know what their missing.
Being a guy isnt about having a girl. Being a girl, isnt about having a guy. If people are going to act primitive, don't reward the behavior with acknowledgment, and don't raise a stink like these feminists unless you have a clear cut answer to the problem. Getting angry is easy. Thats one thing we have in common.
Everyone here is great!

To me "run like a girl" is forcing an exception onto young girls who over hear it. Whether it is meant as an insult to a woman is irrelevant. I watched an interesting video on youtube that talked about how the first thing adults say to young girls is "oh you look really pretty", "I love your dress" or "I love your hair" etc. What people should say is "what is your favorite book" "what is your favorite subject in school" Always taking about appearance would have a lasting effect on boys too, it just doesn't happen as much.
I do think there is a problem but a bit like in the Watchmen, the problem is human nature which might not be possible to change.

I want to go up so a relative someday and ask "What are your interests and hobbies?" Then talk to them like that. I say that because according to everyone I meet, all I really am is my job, and the weather. The "So what do you do for a living?" Is not only cliche, it's lazy. I have no interest in talking to a person who starts a conversation with that.

It won't change as long as we keep committing the crime of denying our sons and daughters the same opportunities of the opposite sex. Things will begin to get better the day a mother tells her daughter that it's okay and even necessary to learn how to work with tools and learn math and science. The same when a father tells his son that child care, cooking, and sewing is not "woman's work". THEN things will change.

Society changes, but people stay the same. I think is a better way of putting it JMM and Blade I don't understand where cooking, cleaning, sewing somehow became a "Woman's Task" it's a useful thing to know..

One thing to keep in mind is when babies start playing girls like to "play house with dolls" and boys like to play with cars and toy fight. This is even true with young apes (experiments have been done). Yes SOME girls are interested in science and SOME boys like cooking and sewing but we will NEVER live in a world with all jobs being 50/50 male and female. The truth is there are a lot of things boys like more than girls and vice versa!
