So I guess there is a very good chance that Microsoft is going to forgo any form of backwards compatibility on the Xbox One, for this new business model of selling us all of last generations game in various collections such as Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Is anyone here interested in this game? Sure I could see people clamoring over a 4 in 1 set of Halo games, where two are complete remakes and over a decade old, but Gears of War??? A Brazilian Rating Website outed this collection and rumors have added to the speculation that this is actually happening. Now a Dishonored: Definitive Edition is all but confirmed to be in the works as well. Why a one-off game that came out in 2012 of all things! Yeah, I know, I don't have to buy this stuff if I don't want to but some people kinda do. I STILL see adverts in every games store I walk into on trading in your 360 for credit towards an Xbox One. The people that do this are backed into a corner where if they want to play a game they used to own, they have to put more money down to buy it again. It's not like these games are a decade or more old, nor are they so new that they can pull a GTAV and release an alternative version 12 months after the original. I can't imagine the update will be more than 1080p/60FPS as even the original 2006 game still looks exceptional. I guess I don't see the selling point other than slight technical upgrade, and fan service. Next year: Fable: Choose Your Fate Collection

I can't wait to get an Xbox One so I can play all the new.... Or all the exclusive... umm why am I getting an Xbox One again? Oh yeah so I can play MGS Phantom Pain because its not on the Xbox 360... Never mind.

Yep... Um, I guess State of Decay 2 is gonna be awesome... The new Tomb Raider will probably be good... Of course Gears/Halo/Fable are exclusives so there's that... They still have those Rareware Ips... Um, early access to Battlefront EA is on Xbox One... Oh yeah, and Call of Duty is always leaned in favor of Xbone... So, Titanfall is a thing... Why does it feel like I'm digging a very shallow hole with a window scraper here?
Whether we want it or not, Metal Gear Solid V is the only thing X360 has going for it at this point. X360 is dead in the water in respects on new games. It's a shame that I still play it more than my Xbox One. Here's to hoping Microsoft makes a case for the Xbox One this E3.

UUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENOUGH OF REMAKES!!!!!!!! I am so sick an tired of xbox one releasing f*cking remakes! I did not buy a brand new console only to have the same game library as the 360! I have more xb360 remake games for the XB1 then I do for ACTUAL XB1 games.

The sad thing is I probably would buy the gears remake! I do agree tho, it seems as tho there are as many remakes being made as new games! "Should we make the Xbox One backward compatible?" "of course not how do you expect us to sell games people have already bought!"

Yeah, I wouldn't judge people who buy this. It's just the fact that what it all boils down to is you paying for a game that you bought just a few years ago, and it's relatively unchanged from the version you already owned. We come from a generation that started out with remakes like Mario All-Stars, REmake, Twin Snakes, and even now with Halo Anniversary and Perfect Dark. It seems the remakes are beginning to fall away in favor of updated ports that cost the same as a brand new retail game. I guess on the flip side, for $60 your getting alot of value in these collections, so bring on the Modern warfare Trilogy.

I would fall victim of buying Mass Effect again on XboxOne, simply because none of my friends are willing to dig out their dusty Xbox360 and hook it up for an hour or two to play ME3 multiplayer with me.
I still have mine hooked up..I don't see what is so hard to do that?
Some of my friends have even sold their 360 console and ALL their games..but they only have 4 games for the XboxOne because of the GB limit you are given. Why would you do that? I can understand if you sold all your stuff to get the XB1, but none of my friends seem to realize that there is like no games specifically for the XB1. It's all XB360 remakes. GTAV, CoD: Ghosts, fricken Minecraft!
I cannot be the only here that is a little upset that the majority of XB1 games are just remastered versions of the 360.

I still have my 360 mostly hooked up, but it's still a pain in the ass to use because I can't just turn it on and play. I gotta move the ethernet cable over which requires me to dig around in the corded nightmare that we all know too well.
So it's possible, but I'd rather be on my PC nowadays anyway. Much more games that work right out the box (no 6 hour 8gb "updates").

Wow I remember that hassle. I haven't had to mess with an Ethernet cable in years.

Wireless is definitely an option in my house, but when I stream I like to use the Ethernet cable so that my connection stays constant and reliable.
Old habits I guess.
