Being made by the guys who developed the first two great Arkham games. It's a proper end to the "trilogy" (I guess Origins doesn't count) and has you free-roam all of Gotham City.

That horse can never be beaten enough. I was holding out for a year for a price drop turns out I didn't have to wait anywhere near that long for the xbone to drop! Now I don't see the point in getting one because I am about to buy Dark Souls 2 which isn't even a next gen game.

People argue this game would be stretched too thin and would make for an inferior product if they had to accommodate for less powerful hardware but I really can't see other than textures, lighting, and a few other cosmetic differences what is so different between PS4 and 360. I mean we've seen that mandatory installs (something required on Xbone anyway)and multiple discs can solve most issues with these bigger, next gen games like GTAV which IS a next gen game in my eyes. I mean it looks the part and acts the part but I'm playing it on my 360. Why the Arkham trilogy isn't coming full circle on last gen is something I just can't see reason in. If it's the greatest Batman game of all time people will have to buy a whole different $200+ console just to play the other games and get the whole story. People keep talking about how they will port the games to a next gen format but who the hell would re-buy a 3 year old game just to play it on the new console. It's madness. I can understand decade old HD remakes and upscale ports but people actually show interest in re-buying Halo 3 on Xbone to complement Halo 2 Anniversary. A game Microsoft was giving away free via the Games with Gold promo just months ago. HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD?

Its like I said before, if you make a game for current gen and next gen you hold the game back from being "truly next gen". From what I have seen "next gen" games just have better textures big deal!

While I agree I'm just not (yet) seeing the potential in this next generation. I mean if better graphics are all it has to offer I'm not sure it's worth it. Look at GTA:San Andreas vs. GTAV. Obviously GTAV has so many little things that make it a technical leap big enough to justify purchasing an Xbox 360 on those merits alone. The game world is bigger, more detailed, and of course, the graphics are better than anything we ever saw on the Original Xbox. I haven't seen that leap quite yet in the next gen.

Oh yeah, that will take years. Just like it did this gen.

Mmmmaybe. I think by Modern Warfare 2 (3 years in) the case had been made for the 360. It was clear the devs had caught up with what the tech could really do. Don't think I'm starting anymore than the obvious here. Should probably let this go.

New trailer. Looks like typical Arkham quality.
That means it's gonna be awesome.

It HAS gameplay in it so it's not lying. I'm tired of the b.s. specuLation people have. The same guys think they gotta decrypt every little frame of a trailer. It's not a puzzle!

Now wait a second. That was like for seconds at BEST. Hardly enough to get excited. Lets just ignore the fact that this video game trailer looks like a better that any of the adverts for any Batman film to date.

I think you may be right. Look at this awesome E3 trailer. The presentation alone has gone above and beyond my high expectations.

A new story trailer is here:
So pretty much the plot from the 1966 film mixed with the plot of Dark Knight Rises but in a darker setting. A much darker setting. Arkham Knight will be the only game in the series to have a Mature rating by the ESRB. Rocksteady has commented on this by assuring that their wont be gratuitous amounts blood or offensive language and they never considered the rating when making the game but just wanted to tell the story they wanted to tell, the way they wanted to tell it.
