I keep thinking Resident Evil Remaster wont be out for a long time, in my head it's a whole year away! (2015) Which is really only a few months away! It is a good time for Survival Horror fans.

Sounds like something I said about Perfect Dark in 2009. Yeah, it's a good time for survival horror. Now if they can just give us RE2make.

Yo JMM, I tried playing RE1 for the first time recently...and I'm having a very hard time with the controls. I was so frustrated with the controls that I stopped playing the game. I'm thinking of going back to playing it again. I would recommend you wait for the remastered version to come out, it wont have tank controls.

Well, it will but there are alternative control options now so you rant forced to stick with the tank scheme.

Even though I'm not used to the tank controls, I still feel like I should get used to them...because it's part of the RE experience

I am curious to see if it will work myself but even more curious to see the new game modes.

Perfect example of why this HD remaster is necessary. I was never able to make out what all those pictures on the wall were until now.

I still can't make them out I have completed this game so many times but I am starting to get really excited about it coming out. Why? because at least I know what I am going to get.

It just wouldn't be the same without the cheesy voice acting. Voice acting so bad it is good!

I think the only difference is resolution. 720p vs 1080p. You kinda have to zoom in to make them out but I'm just happy that I can see a man and a boat etc. When in the past, even with the Wii version, with my 1080p tv running it at 480p, The details were still muddy, ala Chris' shoulder patch in the screens above. It's nice to finally see some of these details.
Lucky for me, I have yet to buy a game that has a XONE/PS4 counterpart. I mean, as long as you don't count all the ports like GTAV/Halo/SoD/REmake. My wife and I have decided that were getting an Xbox One this Thursday.

blade runner if you can (assuming you aren't interested in the pc version which is total mess right now) then i would highly recommend dead rising 3. its not the best game in the series but its a pretty damn good zombie game regardless.
