In college I knoew girls like that. I also had a room mate that would wait on them hand and foot in the hopes someday he might be used as a sex toy or something. I told him over and over again not to do things for them because they will never promise him anything. His argument was that I was a jurk for not being a gentlmen.
I told him that shivelry is dead, woman killed it, and men like him made sure they had the tools to do it right. I can not, will not ever be able to justify being controlled by a woman just because being a man, it's the right think to do. It's not. Not if the woman are to have equal rights.
The one time a girl came up to me wanting to copy my homework (I knew who she was and what she was doing) I leaned forward to her and asked her to pay me in advance. She just walked away. At the time I did that I had a girlfriend that later became my wife. I told her this story and explained that I knew the girl wouldnt fallow through.

I think this has received more discussion than it deserves, not just here, but in the wider gaming arena.
Sexism is prevalent in all forms of media today, but only recently, with the rise of popularity and wider acceptance of gaming in our culture, has those speaking out against it lashed out at videogames.
Nothing will really change, discussions will be had, a few game developers might try to tout themselves as taking the moral high ground with their female characters for brownie points, but in the end, sex sells.
Look at any hollywood or TV production, and 90% of the actors are extremely good looking. You just need to walk down the street to know that that isn't representative of reality. That's because we don't want reality in our make believe. We like looking at pretty people, men or women, and the same holds true for videogames.

Yeah. If you want change you have to change yourself. Practice what you preach and in some peoples case, don't be a bitch trying to change the world. Lead by example.
