I am afraid I can't let you do that Blade. You could add Rare Replay to your top collections of all time.

I'm getting excited for Rare Replay.
So yeah, I just bought Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection which has over 40 titles on one disc and nearly every original Sega Genesis game you could want to play. It's great and all, but it consists mostly of 16-bit side scrollers and beat em ups. Nothing wrong with that, but coming off of that into just watching gameplay demos of Rare Replay, makes the Ultimate Genesis Collection look like something Sega just shoveled a bunch of games onto to make a quick profit. It's a great collection with great games, but compared to Rare Replay it feels limited by it's original hardware. I mean, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage are classics for sure, but Rare Replay has a handful of titles that still stand some of the BEST GAMES EVER MADE!
I say that, because looking through the history of old-school game compilation collections, even the best can only barely break an aggregated score of 81/100. I think and I hope that Rare Replay is recognized and respected as being what I'm thinking will turn out to be the greatest genre spanning collection to date. I gitty when i think I'm going to have Banjo, Conker, Battletoads, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, Blast Corps, RC Pro, Cobra Triangle on a single disc. It's hard to imagine how I'm going to pull myself off of this game for the rest for the year. The answer is a of course, MGSV.
I have a reason to buy a second Xbox One controller now. Lady Serana and I are gonna stream this game in the near future. I can't wait.

I look forward to that stream, I agree with the Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection. They are the kind of games you play for 10-15 minutes and get bored of I see Rare Replay as something I will keep coming back to over the years, a great introduction to the console and a game for life.

What Rare Replay does different, is that it spans multiple generations, genres, and play styles. It's awesome.

Anyone heard details on framerates for the 64 games yet? This really is the sort of thing that'll make or break this collection for me. I'd love to play some splitscreen War or Beach on CBFD with buddies (online would be great too; it is 2015 after all, not 2001), but if it still chugs I don't see the point.

I plan on doing a very quick comparison video using footage from N64 games VS Rare Replay one thing I am sure will be an improvement will be how the game displays on an HD TV.
Edit* It looks like Rare Replay has been delayed. So the day I have booked off work is now pointless and I can't change it now. Great.

That's not unusual. Microsoft should have released a 5TB model because the 1tb is a joke. Haven't seen any delay notice for the U.S. but I did read that all the 360 (xbla) titles WILL NOT be on the disc, and instead will just show up on your ready to download list like you already bought them via backwards compatibility. This probably means you don't need the Rare Replay disc to launch them.
Either way, ill be spending hours investing this just because of my slow internet. I'm still excited. It's a little tricky what their doing but it's still 30 great games for $30.

Source? Rare hasn't said anything about a delay. I did see the Amazon.co.uk listing that has it releasing on the 7th, but that's all I could find.

Seems like that article is going off the Amazon UK listing. Doesn't really confirm a delay. It's possible Amazon has a supply issue which will push the release date back a few days. Have any other retailers there changed their dates?
