If Micro$oft is going to force me to always be online just to play my games then I won't be getting a 720. The day they turn a console into a true status symbol I'm out.
If I need to pay for Xbox Live, the game to play, internet service, and and all three of these can not live without the other then gaming has become a rich mans hobby. I''ll be done.

i think PS4 is looking better for me so i don't think i'll be going team green this gen, lots of the reasons can also be related to the DRM and the employees that are at microsoft, just take a look at this video if you care to

It's still too early to tell but right now I'm leaning toward Sony for once. However in all this sqabling I forgot about the price tag. It would be late 2014 befoe I even begin to start debating which one I want to buy.
I will say that if the bad rumors are true about the Xbox it's going to be PS4 all the way, iiiiifff the Playstation Store titles all carry over to the PS4. Half the appeal is the back cataloge of PS1/PS2 game for $10 each.

I have a chipped PS1 and PS2 so I have decided not to buy a PS4 JUST for that so for me to buy one it would need to have some pretty good NEW games.

Odds are that I'll wait a year or so after PS4 releases to get it, the main reason being that I want to finish up the Xbox games I've missed, like Shadows Of The Damned and Anarchy Reigns. The possible price drop is more or less just a bonus to me.

Judging by the PS3's history of price drops, they will be few and far between for the PS4. Don't expect to pay less than $400 for a new PS4 for the first couple years. Even then they may just start packing in games to justify keeping the price up.
I think that is what they are doing now. If the PS3 didn't always come with games backed in then there would probably be a super slim PS3 for $200 out right now but in all my shopping you can't pick one up for less than $160 due to all the games and extras they pack in.

The reason the PS3 never dropped in price is because it had a Blue ray player

I know but that means PS3 will always be £40 more than Xbox and Wii
