If you are playing it I will say that you aren't supposed to know until you complete it. All I know is you have been sent into the sky to bring back a very special girl so you can pay off a debt.

Just read over the Neogaf spoilers thread. Lots of explanations in there. The story is completely wacky and has several plot holes but it's still fun. www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=533205^^ There's the thread I was talking about.

Anybody care to go over the story of Bioshock infinite. Im still trying to wrap my head around it. I love the Luteces. I'm about to start up a run on 1999 mode when I get a chance. Pretty crazy stuff. Anything in particular you want to bring up?

Can't believe I haven't gotten this game yet. Is it really as good as everyone says?

Meh, I'd say Bioshock one was pretty good, but Bioshock Infinite is definitely worth a buy. If you're a story driven guy the game has a fair amount of unlockable things to keep you coming back for more. If you're purely into gameplay I'd say go for Bioshock one though. The system is just overall better.

I played BS1 and enjoyed it quite a bit. It seemed a little on the short side, but they nailed it from a gameplay and atmosphere perspective. As for BI it's only a matter of time before I get it.
I have to wonder though. Aside from brand recognition why did they decide to include Bioshock in the title? It made sense in BO1 because it truly was a biological mess, but with Infinite I just don't see it. Why not rename it like they did from System Shock to BS1?

It still has a lot to do with changing you biology in order to have powers..
