Here is the problem previously when a new gen console came out we had things like. 16bit to 64bit 2D to 3D SD to HD Now we are going from 3D HD to 3D HD so there is no significant change. I guess "1080p, 60FPS" is the new standard and THAT will be this next generations claim to realevance as far as gaming is concerned. Like Mario 64 to Mario Sunshine, to Mario Galaxy, it's all looks the same just better. We may have hit the threshold in video game graphics as far as visual engineering is concerned. It's baby steps from here on out.
