A Battlefield 4 DLC bundle will be available December 3..... you know that old game.... the one that was released ages ago on October 29, 2013. I wouldn't be surprised if you cant remember that far back I mean it was 15 hours ago. This is really shameful if you ask me. I would have been really pissed if I bought this.

It's like when they release Rome2 total war and made the Greek city states unplayable unless you pre ordered. then charged a substantial amount for them after release. Why didn't they make all the nations playable from the start? incompetence...that's why...

They did it with street fighter a while back (one of the many to flood the market) after a week or so there was some new character "DLC" but it turns out the new characters were already on the disc and the code just unlocked them..... its not f**king DLC if its already on the disc you paid for!

They did the same thing with BF3 and Back to Karkand IIRC. At least it's not day one DLC.
One thing I do have major problems with is Premium. It's ridiculous that publishers have actually coaxed people into preordering DLC now.

I'm telling you, Battlefield has become COD in sooooooo many ways.
BF3 was amazing when it first came out. Then the tweaks came. Then the small infantry-only maps came. Then the pay-to-win came.
Then BF4 came.

Then BF4 came. Not that I want to go too far ouy of my way to actually stick up for the COD buisness model but at least they arnt doing all the crap Battlefield seems to be doing. Sure the "pre-order bonus" is already in the box and season passes or whatever the hell you call them are a rediculous means to seperate you from your money before you know what your really getting but.... at least they don't release game breaking DLC in the form of what ammounts to an "Unlock Everything cheat"!. I mean damn. If I was investing hours upon hours into COD to unlock that sweet Golden AK-12 just to find out you could unlock everything with a $15 patch, I would facking set fire to the game disc. They arnt "shortcuts" they are pay-to-win game breaking cheats that turn a 80 hour game into a 5 hour game worth little more than the price of an indie game. I guess this ended up being just more rant on Battlefield but I just think that while Battlefield seems to be sinking it's own ship at least COD is trying to bucket the water out of its own. Would be nice if they could just plug up the leaks and start fresh but whatever.

I personally think BF4 was rushed for the Xbone/PS4 release.

Rushed? Maybe. Reviews are saying the next gen looks great while the current looks okay. Maybe they shovled the current gen and spent all their time on the next gen version.

Actually, you CAN pay to unlock all weapons/attachments/vehicle stuff in BF3, they brought that in ages ago... HOWEVER I put it to you that any gun in that game is feasible and will kill people just as well as any other gun

Capcom's definition of DLC is "Disc-Locked Content."

Found this and HAD to share. The day I have to pay $60 for an unfinished game that has pay-to-win DLC available day one, and I have to make a monthly fee just to play it...

I think I know what's going on. The Bankers who caused the credit munch back in '07-'08 have lost their jobs and have moved into the gaming industry to ruin that as well...just kidding.
On a more serious note, I read something on cracked and heard several youtubers say something obvious but none the less interesting anyway. Games companies nowa days aren't run by people who are interested in games, they're run by some yokel who has a business management degree which is why they've been doing moronic things recently. Gaming has lost it's heart.
