I thought the point was not to know. I know we love the character and everything but I love Han Solo and don't care to know what happens to him next. I like to think he lived "happily ever after".
If you have seen Gravity my family is torn in half over the ending. I won't spoil anything but I think it was a fine ending and was, indeed an ending. The journey was freaking awesome and the film left you wanting more but years from now when you step back and view it as a whole. This story, this journey has a beginning, middle, and end and wraps up just fine. Many movies show the hero ride off into the sunset and we don't need to know where they are going, we just take comfort in knowing they made it. They are okay. They will always be there. Games can do that too.
Oh and those loads of people... bring them to jmmreview.co.uk if you could.

I dunno Blade, ever since the end of Halo 3, I always wanted to know what the hell planet that was he was floating towards... I always thought it'd be cool to find out... And then we found out, and it wasn't all I hoped for... And I'm sure the same goes for PDZ, I know LOADS of people who were screaming for a sequel to PD, but I think the fact that the one they got was such a huge disapointment that it has made us all a little bit bitter and maybe we forgot that it's what we wanted at one time Yeah we wanted a PD sequel but we wanted it too be good.lol

Exactly my point, and now that we have one that isn't good we hust turn around and say "we never wanted this" and "Should have never made a sequel"

I couldn't disagree more, no one ever wanted a bad sequel, everyone wanted a good sequel but didnt get it.
So replace that with "Should have never made a bad sequel"
If they made a good game no one would say they shouldnt have made it.

I'm still waiting on Perfect Dark 2. The guys who made Killer Instinct. (Xbone) are now working on an unannounced "futuristic shooter" but that could be anything. If they aren't going to make it play like PD64 there is no point in even making a sequal.
PDZ was a prequal. It was a Halo clone set in the PD universe. Its okay in my book but never in a million will it be half as good as its AAA brethren.
