Laptop is awesome and I quite like the falcon although it does look a little like a Glock. I think the models are good, they will look even better once they have textures. Nice website for showing them off BTW.

Cancelled? No. Stopped? Yes, unfortunately...
The problem? Probably the same of several fan-remakes: Very ambitious.
Since the beginning of the project, I thought of something big, but i had no idea how it's hard to make a game. In fact, I had no experience making games when I started.
One of the problems we had from the beginning was the team, i never had a fixed team, some people leave because of personal things, others because they found employment and others because they put no faith in the project. It's not anyone's fault, this is a fan-project, none of them should give satisfaction to me, only me should have satisfaction for players and project followers.
I talked to the level designer a few days ago and he told me what I knew but did not want to admit, the way the team was, the game would not happen, after this, i talked to the programmer of the project and decided to 'freeze' the project.
This is the end of Codename Dark? I hope not. At the moment me and the programmer are making something smaller, we have no idea what it is yet.
I'm sorry for disappointing the players and the project's followers.
I would like to thank everyone here forum who gave suggestions and criticisms to the project and i have to say: It is painful and shameful to have to write something like this.

There is no shame in being ambitious, you should be proud of the work you did and the skills you have learnt. Celebrate the small victories MJarcos and keep us posted on whatever you go on to do next! You should watch this video

What JMM Said. You should be proud. You kept at it a long time. I hope it's not over for good.
For what it's worth, I know you have our thanks for directing your passion and talent to a video game that seems to become more obscure every passing year. The gameplay style has been partially emulated in few games over the years but never replicated.
In some ways it's criminal that we've placed games like Halo, Call of Duty and Battlefield on a pedestal to be sequel'd, celebrated, and remade to no end, while the games that paved their way get put in a corner. Wolfenstein and Doom seem to finally be getting their dues these days, but a messy breakup with Nintendo and mismanagement by Microsoft didn't help to preserve GE/PD/Rarewares legacy until it was far too late. The biggest problem with PDZ was that it was a Halo clone, and nobody knows what the original was like.
