I thought I would make a thread for this, I can see it is getting a lot of coverage in the shoutbox but I would prefer if it was posted here so I can reply without it disappearing @saintoffortune2 even if that just means copying and pasting what you have already posted on here. So far all I can say is it's beautiful.

also the zombies are not scary Have you had a crimson head yet?lol the only time they ever managed to get ahold of me is when one of them hides just outside of a fixed camera angle giving you no time to react. The camera angle is an enemy too...

Fear is subjective, it is a state of mind. I have never felt TRUE fear playing a game, if I did I would most likely turn it off. There are a few times where my heart has been in my throat when I just escaped from nearly being grabbed by a zombie or crimson head. In that sense RE Remake is much scarier that Silent Hills enemies.

Good news everyone!
Resident Evil Remastered has surpassed the 1 million sales mark. This news would be insignificant if it wasn't for the impact it may have on Capcom and the series. I don't want to jinx it, but I'm hoping this has convinced Capcom that there is money in the older Resident Evil games, and now, there are possibly 1 million people, waiting for a Resident Evil 2 remake. Oh yeah!
