So guys, I'm interested in what you guys feel are the best arcade games for the xbox 360. I end up spending a lot of time on the marketplace and I've tried the trials for many games. I'm also interested if any indie games have caught your eye. A few of the noteworthy games I've found:
Age of Booty - 1-8 player pirate real time strategy game on a giant board. Comes with a custom level maker.
The Bridge - A single player puzzle game that includes solving Escher (impossible objects) figures.
Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom - Another single player puzzle game, uses time mechanics similar to braid, but includes pies.
----Indie Games----
Storage Inc - 4 player drop in drop out co op, 100 levels of box stacking goodness. Mind numbingly awesome.
Mount Your Friends- 1-2 player game where you play as muscle men who mount each other. Last one to mount wins. Impressive dong physics.
Bloody Checkers - You have a giant castle to explore where portraits play you in checkers. Think Amnesia mixed with Checkers. Single player aspect, along with an xbox live feature to run around with others.

Dungeon DefendersHands down one of the best games on XBLA. You pick one of four characters, and build towers to fight waves of goblins, orcs, dragons, etc. and collect mana and loot. You also actively battle along side your towers to keep the hoards from reaching the crystal you need to protect. Co-op is a blast! I've been playing it off and on for the last few years with my wife. I'm always on the hunt for a better sword, staff, and crossbow. State of DecaySo good it's being put on a disc and made a retail game for Xbox One. Probably the best Survival Horror born to XBLA. Read or Watch the reviews from GoldenEdge. Great zombie game. Four stars. Check it out. Far Cry 3: Blood DragonI really wanted to give you a list of the top three games I like on XBLA without giving you page full of remakes, ports, and reboots to past AAA franchises like Perfect Dark, Tony Hawk, etc. but over the years the line between XBLA title and just "downloadable title" has blurred to the point that it's flat-out non-existent on Xbox One so I'm going to cheat alittle with this one. It's short, it's sweet and it's a great nod to 80's action adventure. Read my full review here.

My personal favorites, in no particular order:
Banjo Kazooie Banjo Tooie Perfect Dark N+ Castle Crashers Hydro Thunder Battlefield 1943 (Air Superiority) Limbo Minecraft (PC version is miles better, but the arcade implementation is actually surprisingly good)

What Serious Sam did you prefer? I like the third the most and the second the least.

I will be honest, I didn't know there were so many Serious Sam games on the 360. I think I play a demo of one of them which felt a little COD like (in setting) it was set in some middle east town which didn't really feel right some how. Thanks for recommending the other games, I am going to buy this right now. £10 brand new on ebay or amazon, what a bargain.

Just a heads up, the 3rd SS starts out quite slowly but then things eventually get crazy fun in typical SS fashion. That's why the demo seemed like CoD.

I love Serious Sam, I bought the collection a while back and haven't made my way through all of them yet. Also - VO is wonderful. It's a shame the OT port doesn't allow local multiplayer.
