the first game I completed is the spider man movie tie in game from 2002. this game was really freaking difficult because the camera and controls are just abysmal but despite all the flaws my nostalgia keeps me from hating it. also Bruce Campbell does the narration for the tutorial level.

I can remember playing that Spider-man game and some robot level really annoying me as a kid.
For me my first Game Completed would be either Mario 64, Goldeneye or Banjo Kazooie, 100% completion would probably be Jak and Daxter.

Dang. That's a tough one.... I have beaten every one I've ever faced... except CODGhosts. (I've never had less fun from a "best seller")
Adams Family Pinball machine Dr. Who Pinball machine Batman Forever Pinball machine Super Mario Bros. 3
So somewhere in between all the pinball I beat Super Mario Bros. 3. It was a proud moment.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I couldn't tell you what the first game I beat was... Probably beat something unmemorable in my early years... I mean, I've been playing games since the days of the original NES (Don't think I had a NES, but I had a commodore 64 I think and a spectrum...) Basically I'm sure I've beaten games since before I can remember

well, I know my first game because it was the first time I'd ever wanted to throw a TV out the window along with the poxy plastic gun

I've noticed when going back to games from my childhood that most of these games weren't that hard its just that I was a kid and terrible at most things.

You clearly didn't grow up in the Commodore 64 era, I am trying to think of a C64 game I beat and I can't they were all too hard! I really loved this game as a kid Doriath but it was literary impossible to complete, the programmers didn't code an ending.lol Rick Dangerous was another early memory but it was so hard! You can play Rick Dangerous in you web browser here. rickdangerousflash.free.fr/

I believe the first game that I beat was Super Mario Land, though I could be wrong.
