So it's been quite a year. Lots of great games have come out and the time has come for us to come together to talk about, and vote on a game of the year.
I have compiled a list based on community activity and impressions:
Rise of the Tomb Raider Batman: Arkham Knight Halo 5: Guardians Fallout 4 Metal Gear Solid V The Witcher 3: Wild hunt
I know we have been talking about if not fallen hopelessly addicted to at least one of these titles in 2015. Let us know before you vote if there are any glaring omissions on the list and we'll add them.
Only a few rules: You have to had played the game to be nominated, give a reason why it earns the title, and remember they can't be compilations or re-releases of past game. Voting ends on Monday the 21st, results on the 22nd.

Let us know before you vote if there are any glaring omissions on the list and we'll add them. Oh gee I can't think of any more.... except of course RARE REPLAY!!?!!?? All jokes aside I can see why Rare Replay wouldn't get a GOTY it's not fair to give GOTY to a game/games that have been previously released which is the same reason Gears of War Remastered doesn't deserve it either even know I loved playing that game. For me the clear winner was hands down Fallout 4, simply because of how fun the open world is to explore, the level of freedom you have and the base building is pretty awesome too.

Arnt there like four or five previous GOTY nominees on Rare Replay? How is that fair?! lol
I'll be completely honest. I only played one game on that list and that was MGSV. I would give it my vote anyway because of the gameplay and soundtrack. There are no bad soundtracks on this GOTY list, but MGSV was stand-out before it even came out, and only got better as I discovered more and more tapes in the game. It'll get my vote right now but this is why we vote, so a bias doesn't make this a popularity contest.

Surprised "Undertale" isn't on there... For an indi game it got insanely high praise which tbh was pretty well deserved... Watched a playthrough of that game and heard about the other way you could play it and all the nice bits and stuff... DAMN good game tbh

Until Dawn! 1) Hayden Panettiere 2) Brett Dalton 3) Your choices actually matter. 4) The perfect game for horror movie fans. 5) Actual risk of death. 6) Tons of replay value. 7) Everybody dying is an actual ending. 8) Some of the best character models around.

I hated bloodborne with a passion but now i can't stop playing it. I don't know what it is but something in bloodborne just interested me far more than any of the souls games. the art style is beautiful, and the gameplay is more fast paced.

Will Until Dawn be added? I don't want to miss my chance on voting for a different game if it's not going to get added.

Voted for Until Dawn. It's the most fun I've had playing a video game for a long time and it really puts TellTale games to shame when it comes to choices that actually matter. Intense decisions and quick time events, decisions that you think have zero effect end up biting you in the ass and the fact it's basically an interactive horror movie just makes it even better. Also Hayden Panettiere walks around in a towel for a good portion of the game. and wears tight pants I'm a simple man okay!
