Obviously an elephant in the living room. If you were born between 1979 and 1989 you probably have a soft spot of at least one, probably both of these movies in your heart. This is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The ones that count. Not just freaking great movies for fans, not just the pinnacle representation of the franchise on film, but a great fun couple of movies.
This is the original. Easily the best Ninja Turtle movie ever made and not a horrible movie for live action. By any stretch, not a perfect movie, but maybe the closest to a perfect Ninja Turtle movie we'll ever have.
It's funny. The best parts of this movie are the ones without the Turtles. Mostly. They are just silly and cartoonish in this one. It is more or less a direct continuance of the fisrt movie and is over all just more childish, but still watchable.

Well hello, just now seen this, I'm glad to see someone still continues this, I wish I had not stopped these, but at the time I had a little to much on my plate to be able to hit a deadline, and I've been looking for the opportune time to start again, but I don't know how long away that will be. But anyway this is a cool little double feature.

Well when I found these two high quality versions on youtube, I thought I should tell someone and considering we are going to be seeing a trailer next month (April) for the new "live action" reboot movie, it's better to watch these things before popularity shines enough light to get them pulled off of youtube. At least you can see what a good TMNT movie looks like before watching the abomination that very well could be the upcoming reboot.

These two turtle movies are was better than that crappy missed opportunity that was Super Mario Bros. If you want a fair comparison just look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. My thoughts exactly.

It's fun to turn on when your doing something else. I "watched" it about a year ago when I was playing through PKMN SoulSilver again and wanted some background noise. It has a niche 90's charm. I just wouldn't sit down in a dark room with popcorn and actively make an effort to follow it.

Just like that, they were taken down. I hope whoever wanted to relive some TMNT cinema history got the chance here. I will periodically check youtube for replacement uploads in the coming months.
