Too many details came out today to just tack this on to an existing thread. Here we go....
State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition has all the DLC and patches the Xbox 360 version does but is also adding new vehicles, missions, and weapons.
It's $29.99. Already bought it on 360? Don't worry, for you, it's only $19.99. I don't know if that discount carries over to the physical edition but I would assume not. When can you get it? April 28th. There you go. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get play some Resident Evil.

More details on whats new:
Your save file from the Xbox 360 version WILL carry over to the Xbox One version.
The military weapons and skills that were introduced in Lifeline are coming to Breakdown and the base game as well as the ability to craft ammo in your base workshop.
A new mission type makes things a bit easier in the long run but more difficult in the short. A mysterious organization makes supply drops at random places on the map. These crates contain some of the most useful supplies in the game, but getting into them attracts a lot of zeds. Have fun with that. If you haven't played in awhile, multiple ruck sacs can fit into vehicles now.
The game looks better than ever with numerous bug fixes, 1080p, a solid 30fps, and improved animations making the game finally look, dare I say, finished, finally. An improved draw distance means you can spot zombies from farther away and thus, have more prep time, and a bump in texture quality means, finer details like road signs, and interiors help paint a better picture of what happened before your arrival.
Some tweaking to the UI means more casual players will get a chance to utilize some of the features buried in menus or not fully explained in the original release. This will hopefully help players feel more in control of what's going on (to an extent) and not so helpless when survivors are leaving and dying off.
They are really working to cater to the early adopters with the discounted price and safe file transfers. I'm so happy they followed through and are completing this game. When it released it was solid enough, but far from finished, cosmetic problems like clipping, texture pop-in, delayed asset pop-in made it feel like a glorified beta.

Saw this screen from the XONE version, and needed to post it because it really shows off the visual clean-up they've done. It's most apparent on the character models that look like they were completely replaced and several textures were up-rez'd too. Also a Day One Edition has been announced with some exclusives: SKS Firearm - A classic Soviet-era semi-automatic carbine, modded up with all the latest furniture, including a 40mm grenade launcher under the barrel. Perfect for picking zombies off one-by-one...then blowing them all to pieces when things go south. Prepper SUV - The ultimate marriage of cargo capacity and durability, this rugged off-road vehicle was a solution waiting for a problem. The reinforced body offers top-of-the-line resistance to zombie incursions, with plenty of room in the back to store all your best survival gear. Folding Axe Melee Weapon - An essential piece of survival hardware. It's light, portable, and made of modern materials that will keep a sharp edge, even after multiple brainings. So there it is. It's out on the 28th of April. I'm tempted to pick this one up. I would say it's worth it for $30.
