I already have too many cheap games sitting on my hard drive I have yet to touch. This is why I like to buy physical copy's. Since posting I have talked to an other SS fan and he said he prefers the 1st game over the 2nd game. So if SS2 is the "worst" of the 3 games and I really enjoyed it, that should reflect how good the other games are! I really hope you don't have an all or nothing attitude with the games, for $3 why not pick up SS3? At least we will both be playing it at the same time, we could even do a co-op

Oh and to answer your question about the pistol IMO the pistol in SS2 is much better, it is more satisfying to use. It feels like the pistol in SS3 lets you hit whatever is on the screen like auto aim. SS2 Revolver SS3 Desert Eagle Also you can dual wield the revolver, I haven't got to dual wield the Degale yet. I think I should play them all the way through and do a series review. (don't hold your breath) Yeah, every weapon in SS3 has fairly heavy auto-aim unless you turn that feature off. They don't have perfect accuracy, though. If you hipfire a weapon, you're much more mobile but your accuracy can range from 1-100% depending on the range that you're at. If you aim down the sights, you always have perfect accuracy. I find the system to be quite fun as a result, having to judge which mode is more suitable in each encounter. Having to precisely aim isn't necessarily fun for me. It's dodging the hordes of enemies in SS which is the most entertaining. I like the sound of both the revolver and the deagle. It's really refreshing to hear a good gun sound. Since CoD4/WaW, pretty much all the guns in cod games have sounded same-y and ineffectual. Perfect Dark had a hell of a lot of good sounds there. You can't dual wield anything in SS3.

I just haven't got around to playing any of them. I'll look into picking them up.
