Pretty much explains why everything on the internet is either a 1/10 or a 10/10. Some interesting stuff is said, well worth a watch.

See, I find the thing about "arguing online" is you shouldn't view it as an argument... Even the word "argument" stirs up feelings of aggression in people because that's what an argument is to a lot of people, just two people shouting at each other until one gives up. Any time I've been given a differing opinion online I do try to go into it with an open mind, I share my beliefs and why I believe them, and a lot of the time I don't get the same thing in return (Mostly I get "you're stupid and wrong" type comments) but the odd time that I DO get the other person to actually open up about WHY they believe something, then things get more interesting and more of a conversation than anything... Sure a lot of the time it ends in an "agree to disagree" thing, but even at that you're both going away with a bit more insight into the minds of other people and why they believe what they do.

I agree but I think the video still does a god job explaining why a discussion between two fans can end up in an argument. I try not to get into arguments online but it can be hard so I just try to adopt a "I understand where you're coming from but this is why I disagree" only problem with that is a lot of people seem to take that as an attack.
