Not sure if you'd consider it an FPS or just a first-person adventure game, but if it's the former, I'd go for Metroid Prime 2. If not, then I'll go with Borderlands 2 because Deathtrap murda never gets old.

My friend was big into Metroid Prime and I sadly didnt get into on Gamecube (too busy playing Res 4 and zelda WW) I feel like I missed out tho I love the idea of a first-person shooter adventure game. I think Half Life and Turok are first-person shooter adventure games.

They have the Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii, and loathe as I am to say it, it probably controls better on Wii than on Gamecube X-P
But they're absolutely worth playing! The first one is actually very similar to Super Metroid and the games along that line in which it's more exploration focused, and the second one takes that, adds a dark world a la Link To The Past, and ups the difficulty by a lot. Third's probably the weakest, as it's easier and a lot shorter than the other two games, but hey, you can't win them all.

I'd go for Half-Life 2. Didn't say I couldn't prolong my gameplay with mods.
