Yeah unless something crazy went on behind the scenes then Goldeneye 64 will never see life outside the N64 and Emulators.
I'm expecting Banjo, Conker, Killer Instinct, or even Perfect Dark.
I have a feeling it's nothing that good. More like a Battletoads HD Remake for XBLA, though they did say it was for Xbox One so who knows.

Well my heart skipped a beat when I opened this thread in case it was a new Perfect Dark... It would kind of make sense, Xbox 360 launched with PD zero. P.S. Did anyone see Rare retweeted a post about goldeneye, the post was made by none other that IOneI Falcon! twitter.com/RareLtd

I don't think Rare will ever stop supporting recognition for Goldeneye 007. The fact people still bring it up is like a badge of meaning for the once great developer.
If everyone would have forgot about Goldeneye then that would be one less thing to remember them by and considering all James Bond games are compared to the N64 classic, and the movies will go one forever it's safe to assume Rare will never stop taking credit for that masterpiece and people will never stop bringing it up.

I dunno. When I think of "Historic Rareware Title," the only game that was truly HISTORIC would be Goldeneye. Yeah their other games were smash hits too, but historic? That one's reserved for Goldeneye. Oh well. I'm preparing myself for massive disappointment come E3.

My disappointment levels are already at full! But there will hopefully be some unexpected things too. maybe some Evil within footage or new half life or something!

Kinect Sports 3 for Xbox One. I'm calling it.
On a serious note, I hope for the best but I expect the worst. At this point I don't see how Rare could made a game on par with BK, PD, GE, etc. The studio's been gutted, all of the original employees that worked on said classics have left, and the only experience this new team has is with Kinect crap.
Let's face it; the only similarity between Rare and Rareware now is the logo.

Nice 2001: a space odyssey pic MMCC 2001: A Space Odyssey? No. It's a photograph of the new power ring on the front of the Xbox One. That's what happens when you insert a used game.

Really though, could this be an actual PD sequel? FPS's are a bit of a thing right now and it would be the safest bet for MS/Rare. It's definitely not GE as there's too much red tape around that franchise now.
Someone help me. I'm becoming...optimistic
