I fear for Cuba when Castro dies. you go to Cuba and yes it looks like you entered 50's Spain but the Cubans are peaceful and happy with their lives. yes it took a lot of terrible communistical (I made that word up) to get the population like that but it is how it is. when Castro dies the country will fall apart. It will be a perfect example of what will happen if a sane minded absolute dictator dies without a proper successor.

Spot on Lenrat. Communism is no more evil than socialism or capitolism if done correctly.

I agree but I think people have the mindset that comunism is pure evil and nothing good can come of it. I would hate to live in a communist country but if the people in Cuba are healthy (they are) and realitivliy happy then something is going right. Still communism is a last resort government form and is unethical on more levels that any other state.

Yeah the USA has us paying taxes and that is never fun but I don't mind them keeping my refund if that means I don't go bankrupt via hospital bills when I suffer a hit-and-run crossing the street. It happens. Honestly the UK and a few other first world countries are way ahead of the United States in government policy. Here in the USA, everyone is so concerned with personal freedoms that nothing gets done. Everyone is afraid of the government coming and taking away our guns, cars, and money. You know, the important stuff...
