This is the first game review I have written in a very long time. I'm talking years. So long ago in fact I can't even remember where any reviews I have written are. Or even if I have indeed written reviews previously.

Okay, so this game has been out for a while. However I recently completed the story, and greatly enjoyed the game. So I figured I would write a review.
Gameplay: 8/10
I played this on PC using a USB XBox 360 controller. The controls are pretty standard. If you've played racers before then the usual ones should be familiar to you (accelerate, brake, handbrake, etc) already.
You are John Tanner, a detective for the San Francisco police department. After a notorious crimelord gets busted out of jail, you begin the manhunt to lock him back up again. The city is free-roam, however the majority of the city is locked and gradually unlocks as you progress through the story.
You unlock an ability to 'Shift' from car to car and take control of the driver. Sounds far fetched, but it is a legitimate way.
Graphics: 9/10
I love the graphics. They are of high quality... I'm sure the screenshots will reflect that.
Sound: 10/10
The sound effects are top notch. The voice acting is terrific, one of the best I've heard. I don't recall hearing any dialogue out of place, it's all said with the correct pitch and tone of voice that you would expect in each situation.
Value: 8/10
It's a very enjoyable game. It has 140 cars from legitimate car/vehicle manufacturers including Aston Martin, Dodge, Chevrolet, Lamborghini, GMC and many others. If you find it on the shelf for £15-20, I would say it's worth the purchase.

Overall, I give this game
9/10
It's greatly enjoyable, even just drifting or driving through the streets.
If you enjoy driving, definitely look in to this game.
