With the facility music. Yeah some of us want a Goldeneye remake more. Perfect Dark at least has a chance to live on with the xbox consoles. Poor Goldeneye has no chance.

I would happily kickstart a goldeneye remake. Single and multiplayer. I mean. I would pay for the tech it may take to pull it off. The labor would have to be of love.

The good thing is that Perfect Dark and Goldeneye are pretty much the same game, gameplay wise.

Well, I think I can help it, when we finish the game, we will launch the PDK (Perfect Development Kit), it will act as the Crysis 2 Sandbox Editor, you can create your stages, missions with assets of Codename Dark. One of the additions of Codename Dark, will have all the weapons of Perfect Dark AND Goldeneye (Minus the Golden Gun.
Thanks

It's just seeing a single player level populated with AI is closer to a proper remake than anything I've seen previously. Many people have been bothering the Goldeneye Source guys for years to get on a Single-Player option but nobody wants to attempt it. If anything, Goldeneye would be a bit easier if only because the settings are a pit more grounded in modern reality. I'm just thinking out loud. I just think the Goldeneye single-player option gets even less love than the game itself and I remember having fun with the single-player. Not trying to change anything or make this about Goldeneye. I love what your doing and speak only for myself in saying that I can play a Perfect Dark "remake" on my Xbox 360. I'm still waiting on that Goldeneye remake and hope someday it happens.

I have good news for you, I know a person who is doing the remake of the game using Unity, but the guy is very busy, so the project is well stopped. Looks like the project is on hold, but someday someone will make a great remake on the PC. I think the main problem is anyone making a remake of GE or PD will not make any money. How are you paying for your remake MJarcos? or is it only you working on the project?

My team is in the first page of the topic. About payment: No one is being paid, it is a project that prioritizes education, all of the project they want to work with game development, then, almost no one knows anything, but everyone knows a bit (This was confusing)! Sorry it has been ages since I was on the first page.lol When the alpha is ready how will people like me play it? Do I need a copy of Crysis 3 to run it? Also would I need a gaming PC to run it?

When the alpha is ready how will people like me play it? So far, unfortunately, you will have to download the CryEngine 3 SDK, because there is no compiler for the game. But we're working on it, maybe this will change! Cryengine SDK: www.crydev.net/dm_eds/download_detail.php?id=4 Do I need a copy of Crysis 3 to run it? No Also would I need a gaming PC to run it? If you have the System Requirements [End User] for the SDK, you should run it smoothly. About the Alpha, the way things are going, it will take a while to happen. Drawing I, the team is pretty busy, only I've got free for the project. At the moment, I'm focusing on building the multiplayer stages, if anyone wants to help with that, just get in touch.

Cool, don't burn yourself out, I think that is what happens to a lot of big projects. I wish I could help you make it but I wouldn't know how. When the alpha is out (as long as my craptop can run it) I will make a video of it for you to see if people can help.
