Good to be here Thank you. Truth be told, I am new to modeling firearms, as my main area of expertise lies in swords, shields, medieval weaponry ect. I use blender, But am not used to high poly modeling, because I am currently making a mod for the medeival II kingdoms engine, which does not have a very high max polycount. By the way, here is an updated version of the magsec. Marcos posted the old one. I am working on refining the barrel and the handle and everything else imgbox.com/VDVjrvwo

I made some stuff for IMVU... One thing I was working on was a scythe, and I had it looking pretty badass (Think I linked a pic of it on here at one point)... The problem with SketchUp is when it comes to texturing... It's quite a pain, can't unfold the mesh so wrapping a texture around it is pretty much not gonna happen, instead you gotta like... paint through it

Yeah, come to think about it, to texture a high polygon model i.e. a person it would be very impractical to add a texture map. Still a great program for other things.

Do you think the textures should load for everyone now?

Plot twist, Chesluk industries took a page out of Carringtons book and decided to make a steel club that looks like a gun but seriously, the trigger is the very last piece i will be making.
