In all seriousness this is the first time I have hear of Chesluk Industries.lol is that bad as a Perfect Dark fan to have only found out about it? No not really, Its never mentioned in the game, and the only way to find out about them is to read all the weapon descriptions in the pause menu. so It is easy to miss!

If you are looking to give it any "realistic" nods as it seems this engine is going to make things look to good for these basic (less detailed) weapons there is a website called IMFDB that has a list of the weapons and the real life counter-parts. Here's a link. As much of a good thing it is to stick to the original I think things like slide grips, safety switch, and clip ejectors could be added without comprising the visual identity of the weapon.

I will work my hardest to add as much detail to the weapons I am making as possible. however I'm working with a 1.5k polygon limit, so I have to be careful not to go over. Yeah no problem. I just think if everything is going to get a polygon boost you don't want things like hands and weapons looking like they came off of the XBLA version or something. Namely. The falcon 2 (my favorite) has never looked right to me. In the N64 version it was polygonal fugly. In the XBLA version it looked better but still unfinished. Would like to see more definition. Just making it look like the gun in that link (minus the logo) would make for a better looking weapon.

I agree, the falcon was basically a couple of rectangles in the first game Here is an update on the magsec. I am working on the grip, and currently it is an unfinished nightmare, but it is progressing!

Just out of interest if there is a 1.5k polygon limit, what is the polygon count as it stands now? its 895 verts right now. So I think I should have enough to add all of the bits and pieces. Another update! Still working on the grip, but this is what it looks like assembled so far. As soon as I am done adding all the other parts, I am going to retopologize it so it does not look so blocky.
