Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 2. I cant believe the answer to your question is no/not right now. MGS GZ LOOKS awesome and if it was out a month ago it would be a day one buy for me but I have barely scratched the surface of DS2 so I wouldnt have time to play it. I really hope it plays as good as it looks, if it really is only a few hours of gameplay that will suck am makes me wonder why they didnt release it as DLC with Phantom Pain. My answer: not right now but some day when I have nothing to play I am looking forward to picking this up.

Well I'm still on the fense with Dark Souls. I need to watch some reviews and get a feel for what the game plays like. Can I play as a cool cape wearing, arrow slinging, warrior?

Its not broken for me, there are modders/glitchers in every game. Every time you turn the game on it checks the latest "calibrations" so if he has found some kind of super combo they will nerf it. Again it wont effect me because I wont use the super combo (takes the fun out of it).

I cant believe fanboys are trying justify the asking price of thirty dollars by saying its a prequeal or dead rising case zero got away with it why can ground zeroes even though case zero cost only a mere five dollars.

Well there are alot of lifers out there. Lifers? I plan on getting my Gamestop article up before the end of the day. Then you will know what I'm talking about. Games > Money no matter the cost.

Ended up downloading this the day it came out and finished the main mission in two hours (still working on the 4 or so side ops though). Not sure if it's worth the $30 asking price, but I can say it's a fantastic showcase for what the full game will offer. No MGS has looked as good or played as well as Ground Zeroes IMO. There are definitely worse ways to spend your money, especially if you're a die-hard MGS fan.

I wouldn't call myself die-hard. Sure Twin Snakes sits pretty high on my Top Ten of All Time list but the head spinning story, extended cut-scenes, and all the other craziness really drags it down. I'll play Ground Zeros eventually. I like MGS, I don't love it. I don't seem love any new games anymore. Love transcends money ya see... If $30 only gets me 4 hours of game time, I'll pass.

I guess if I have 2 hours to kill some day I will buy it I remember it used to be free to play 2 hours of a game before it came out... it was called a demo.

Oh man. Remember that MGS Demo on the PS1 demo disc? Anyone? You could go up the elevator and inside the facility and then it was pretty much over. That demo was so much fun because of the stealth element.

Oh Yeah I remember that but what I really loved was the Resident Evil 2 demo! 15 minutes to do whatever you want in the full game!

Never played that one. I only ever played two demo discs at a friends house. I never owned any PlayStation. One disc had MGS and another, Spyro the Dragon and a few others. Say what you will about Spyro now, but at the time, I loved that game. That lone demo disc was a system seller if only because it showed the fun you could have with the console. Too bad you had to own the console to play it. lol Would have got a PS1 but my parents decided to treat me that Christmas 2001 with something better, a Gamecube. I eventually got to play MGS via Twin Snakes, but still have yet to play Spyro nearly 15 years later. Holding out for that XBLA version. lol Never gonna happen. Here's one: Would have gotten a PS1 over a N64 and when I think about it... why didn't I? I had several reasons to buy a PS1 and only one reason to buy an N64 and that was Goldeneye 007. A Saturday night sleepover playing Goldeneye till 3 in the morning had me sold. Playstatwhat? Never heard of it. I'm gonna go buy a Goldeneye 64 box. Ocarina of Time? That fairy game? Whatever! Mario 64? Give me a break, it peaked at Mario Bros. 3. See what a 3rd party FPS does, Nintendo. It sold a console, thousands in fact. Goldeneye was more hardcore and awesome than anything on PlayStation. While I eventually tried out Ocarina of time and fell in love forever you get to point.

I just realized you can get MGS 2&3 on Games on Demand for the same price as Ground Zeros. I have yet to play MGS 3 and haven't played MGS 2 in years. Hmmmm.
