Starting tomorrow, every day for the rest of the year, will feature a new deal.
Day 1 Borderlands 2 Games on Demand - 75% off Vault Hunter Upgrade 2 Add-on - 50% off Psycho Pack Add-on - 50% off Headhunter 1 Bloody Harvest Add-on - 50% off Borderlands 2 Season Pass Add-on - 33% off Terraria Arcade - 67% off
That is a great deal ($8) for what was critically, the best shooter of 2012. Just keep an eye on Xbox Live for the rest of the year and I will post updates as new deals become available. I most likely won't post an update every day but if something it stand-out I will be sure to share it with the forum.

When Xbox live is shut down for the 360 they are bound to do an everything must go sale...

Yeah and considering all of this digital inventory is making them money you would think they would just continue to drop and drop leading up to the Marketplace service being discontinued. I just hope they have the foresight to keep the Xbox Live service alive well after. I hate the idea of Microsoft treating the 360 as a sinking ship that THEY sank and expecting the people still on it to just deal.
I mean, if I blow $100 on 12 games during the supposed everything must go sale, I would be PISSED if my system failed a couple months after (for whatever reason) and I couldn't re-download the games. If they had a single gracious bone in there corporate body they would reserve the rights until the year 2020. That way, while you could no longer buy anything off of Xbox Live via the 360, you could use your "purchase history" to re-download games you bought in the following years. Currently they are looking to phase out support at the end of 2015.
As an example, I know I'm one of the few who "own" Turtles in Time Reshelled due to Microsoft losing publishing rights for it on Xbox Live Arcade but I can STILL go downloadable that game and play it via my purchase history and that is the LEAST I expect Microsoft to honor after the Marketplace finally closes on Xbox 360. You can drop support but give me a good 5 years to keep playing within the Xbox 360s' stagnant online footprint.
By the end I will either still be attached enough to my 360 to buy the new latest model and a 1TB hard drive to download every game I have ever bought on it or be content enough with whatever next-gen platform I have decided on and let my 360 be with my few beloved games nestled safely on a USB. You know, because a USB will live a helluva lot longer than a X360 Hard Drive. There is my stance. What do you think.

I mean, if I blow $100 on 12 games during the supposed everything must go sale, I would be PISSED if my system failed a couple months after (for whatever reason) and I couldn't re-download the games. This is my biggest fear, not even so much that I cant play online because I know that is coming but if there is some rare piece of DLC or something that I am missing or for some reason I couldnt play Perfect Dark I will be really pissed. Think about it, lets say I buy BioShock Infinite for the "Great price" of $14 and in 2 years time I think oh I would like to play that but for some reason I cant because I have to redownload or update it. I will bet in 2 years time you can buy a physical copy for that price or less...

I only buy digital because I can play it NOW at the "great price" I don't have to fiddle with swapping discs every time I want to play and it's easier on the machine. Other that the DOA resale value (unless I sell my gamertag) the only thing keeping me from going digital on most casual buys is the fear that I will love the game and lose it when Microsoft decides.
I believe my idea of allowing you to re-download from your "purchase history" long after the Xbox Live Marketplace is shut off is key to keeping the people that spent 11+ years (2005-2016: one of the longest console generations) falling in love with Xbox 360 and it's games. Microsoft HAS GOT TO DO SOMETHING! No backwards compatibility means the Xbox 360 might remain tucked behind the flat screen (still hooked up) for years and years to come.
I can't think of many franchises that arnt represented on 360 in some way and that is impressive. I mean, people have replaced their previous Nintendo, Sony, and Sega consoles with the Xbox 360 due to it's long arm and had Goldeneye come to XBLA I would shelf the dust collector that is my N64. Every other N64 title I have on my Wii/3DS. The Xbox Live Arcade is a sort of Greatest Hits collection of previous generations from the Atari 2600 on XBLA to the original Xbox with the 360s limited backwards compatibility.
NONE OF THAT STUFF WORKS ON XBOX ONE!

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night It is a must play game, think of it as 2D Skyrim. But its the only game worth having there. Just buy it.

Had to do some research because I don't trust any critic as far as I can throw one but a nerd... he makes it sound like its the best in the series at first, are his complaints really that profound? I might just jump on it today and have a go at it after the holidays.

His biggest complaint is the save system and the RPG style which I have no problem with. I am used to dying and having no check points. Hell Resident Evil put you to the title when you died.
