Worst shooter of 2014?
I mean, I want it to be good. I have liked the over-the-top Rambo stuff since I was a kid. Thats why I liked Blood Dragon so much. This games looks like crap though. Never mind the graphics, everything in this trailer was either cut-scene, or scripted. I would like to think there is Goldeneye-esque auto-aim going on to make the game more run and gun but I only post this because I'm a fan of the Rambo style of action and can't believe some form of quality control isn't implemented in games like this.

The lighting/shading says this gen, the graphics themselves say last gen, nothing says next gen... Some of the gameplay in this trailer looks like gun play from The World is Not Enough N64 game. Usually that would be a good thing. I don't think so here.

I love how you are calling it the worst FPS game of 2014 already.lol Rule number 1 when you are making a Rambo game, make the character look like Rambo!

If only had Rockstar Games worked on it, it would look 1 million times better. They've done movie games in the past. "The Warriors" was an awesome game.

Their are lots of devs that can make great movie game given the time, resources, and having passionate people. I still regard EAs Return of the King as the best Lord of the Rings game around. It's a hack n slash game but if you are a fan of the source material or just loved the movies at the time the game had tons of footage not scene in the movie and several characters to unlock and level up. It was brilliant. I only wish I could track down the people that worked on it to see if they are working on anything similar. I was never a big fan of the beat em up hack n slash genre but they know have to make it accessible.

It was but that battle was represented in ROTK. I liked that it was more character focused. You didn't just focus on the muscle of the films but the entire fellowship. Being able to play aa Aragorn as well as Frodo and Gandalf was a nice addition over the Two Towers.

It felt more intense than the way out 3rd person camera in ROTK.

I still regard EAs Return of the King as the best Lord of the Rings game around. Funny story about LOTR from EA (not sure which one) one year after the games launched EA pulled the plug on the online play. EA like doing that to games they are no longer making money on, if you didnt know all EA games run on their own servers..... here is the funny part.... You can still buy online DLC for said LOTR game Microsoft don't remove DLC even if it is a map pack for a game you cant play!!!

I am no microsoft fanboy jmm but I think the dlc still being there is EAs fault mainly because Microsoft more than likely has little if any control over it.

On Topic: It is an on-rails shooter. IGN gave it a 3/10. This is what they had to say.
In a bowling alley arcade, circa 1997, a Rambo: The Video Game cabinet replete with a hulking plastic light machine gun smeared with Dorito dust and palm sweat might have been one of the better ways to lose several dollars. In 2014, the idea of slogging through an entirely scripted, arcade rail-shooter with a mouse or a joypad feels like an unmitigated waste of time for everybody involved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wish they would make a Stallone game that's main menu is cut off into 3 sections. Rambo --- Rocky --- Expendables 3rd person shooter --- 3D Fighter --- First-Person Shooter. One Stallone game to rule them all and they can stop trying to milk this skeleton of a cash cow.
