I bought Mass Effect last night for a grand total of $4. I've only played it an hour and I can already tell I got a deal.

Well I have never touched it. Never watched a review. All I know is Mass Effect 2 was GOTY and is the highest rated RPG on X360. I heard your character carry's over to subsequent games so this $4 start is one helluva deal. I will be sure to pick up the other two if I end up loving ME1.

The combat can be a bit iffy at times on the first one, but they switch to the same engine GoW uses in the second and third games, and it makes a hell of a change for the better... Though I DO miss the level 50 spectre sniper rifle =p

actually batman arkham city uses the same engine as batman arkham asylum and I don't know about batman arkham origins but considering how that game was mostly a copy and paste job I imagined they used the same engine too.

Played Mass Effect for 3 hours last night. Died. Forgot to save. Lost 2 hours. That is frustrating as hell. Please tell me Mass Effect 2 has a better save system. ME1 auto saves seemingly at random and makes me paranoid with that. Anyway I loved KOTOR on Xbox and this game is pretty much that but with a different theme. Really getting into it.
Considering it was $4 it might be the best deal I ever got on a game. Well, accept that time I got the Orange box for $5.
