Ok a little random and somewhat off topic but did anyone ever watch Are you afraid of the dark? It was like tales from the crypt for kids It even has the "submitted for your approval" line from the Twilight Zone in every episode.

I like it like I like Ren and Stimpy if only for showing parents that us kids could take that gross out humor. There was lots of weird stuff in Rocko like a super hero with Nipples of Truth that went into peoples eyes. I think that's how it went. Or I have a seriously disturbing imagination.
Nope. I'm not crazy.

Ever notice that there are NO episodic horror based kids shows anymore? Slime and guts. Zombies and vampi.... well all that stuff used to be cool. As adults it's looked upon as silly and I suppose kids feel the same way these days. I really do consider the late 70's to late 80's a renaissance of horror theater and it bled into the television culture. Looks like it's finally bled out.
Are you afraid of the Dark, Goosebumps, and more adult oriented shows like Tales from the Crypt, Tales from the Darkside, and Amazing Stories were pretty cool. Now everything is reality or continuous series based.
