Found a pretty cool/retro website and I thought I would share it. www.flatbatteries.com/columbo.htmlIf only this game was real! Guide the detective-in-a-raincoat through a series complex mysteries. Including sections of driving around LA in his old Peugeot, and smoking cigars. The TV show was a real battle of wits and the game will be just the same. You'll do all the investigation in your standard third person adventure fashion but where this game will differ drastically is in the conversations. Previously conversation has been done in one of two ways - either you sit and listen to the talking with no interaction at all or you have to constantly choose what to say next from set list. Neither of these are much fun. In Columbo you will be able to decide what to say and how you say it. When approaching a person you'll hit the talk button and then one of four topic buttons to decide what he talks about. The topics will vary depending on where Columbo is and who he is talking to. Topics include "My wife is a really big fan of yours." "His car" "His dog" and of course "The case". Then whilst talking those same four buttons along with the analogue stick will command Columbo's arm gestures. Once you've finished talking and are leaving a scene you'll have to choose just the right time to turn around and say "Just one more thing." The key to gameplay is to choose the right combination of topics, gestures and "Just one more thing"s to get your murderer to confess in the shortest time.[/div]
