I was really looking forward to playing dementium the ward seeing as how its one of the few good fps on the ds and while it delivers as a first person shooter it however does not deliver as a survival horror. because the enemy's are not scary but startling and are very loud and obnoxious and since the hospital the game takes place offers little variety beyond hallways and closets and the fact that you the main character is very slow makes it difficult running away from them plus they respawn which makes backtracking a bitch. i want i survival horror for the ds but this simply isn't it and if your still interested in this game then rent it because you will complete it in a weekend.

There's a sequel that's supposed to be better. I wouldn't know but I read a review that says it fixes all the problems of the original.

Looks kind of cool but low budget, pretty ambitious to make a 3D survival horror on the DS, I mean how high were your expectations for it anyway I do know one survival horror on the DS..... but you wont like it...

I'm not sure I know how survival horror can work on a handheld. I'm only truly immersed in the genre when I'm alone in the dark with a big tv screen. Between little screens, sounds, environments, I can't see really being scared when playing on the ds.

I dont think you need to be scared playing a survival horror, just as long as its tense. For me Resident Evil DS was just a way for me to play resident evil 1 on the go..
I dont think I have ever truly felt scared playing any game, just really tense.
