I thought it was odd that they specified that it was captured on Xbone. But I also noticed that it looked very linear. I appreciate that they are trying to be more different from previous titles but adding all these interesting Gadgets but implementing them in a shit way is just as bad as dangling some cake in front of a hungry man and only giving him a crumb of it after paying you a grand sum of money.

I just don't get it anymore. Call of Duty. There was a time when the name meant so many different things. Call of duty was one of the best WW2 FPS games. I associated them with walking the fine line between realism and fun and now I'm not sure there even in the ballpark of those two things.
Every year since Black Ops 2 I see articles around the internet elating to how the latest COD isn't so far fetched. How the conspiracy theorys present in the trailers and technology is "right around the corner" News flash: It's very unlikely the year 2025 will look anything like what is portrayed in the games as opposed to even Modern Warfare 3 that went about as advanced and over-the-top as I imagine a game can get while still being wholly believable in it's technology and presentation.
I expect 2025 to look far closer to MW3 than Advanced Warfare.
Oh and why is Halo looking more and more like COD and COD looking more and more like Halo? Can't we just have another straight up WW2 or even Vietnam shooter with licensed music, awesome graphics, and a conspiracy theory free story? Cmon!

The main problem I have with CoD is that it's essentially the same game being sold over and over again. Hell, there's even a video showing cutscenes in MW3 perfectly matching cutscenes in BO:2
That's my problem with CoD.
However, if this new House of CoDs game breaks the mold and actually becomes it's own game in an oversaturated franchise (let alone genre) then, yeah, I'm on board.
I liked Call of Duty. It was fun, it was genuinely good, and I just liked it. But paying $60 for a game I already own? No I dont think so.
But if House of CoDs here truly offers a new and unique experience to the CoD franchise, I see no reason to denounce it.
It is, after all, EXACTLY what the franchise needs: a fresh, new breath.

How is it a fresh new breath?
I know we don't know much at this point but it's Black Ops 2.5 Cmon. The Hoverbike sequence will be just like the snowmobile sequence in MW2. The Iron Man suits will be like the Juggernaut suits in previous games. Other than the story having Kevin Spacey I don't see the newness novelty here.
On it's surface it looks like a mix between Ghosts and Black Ops 2 with some Crysis and Halo thrown in.
I made the analogy of COD being treated like a sport making the latest game the equivelent to this years sporting equipment. The way American football teams get new jerseys, pads, helmets, and balls so are the COD players getting new levels, guns, and graphics.
I want this game to be the next great and revolutionary FPS but I can already tell it's following the Activision annual release playbook by the numbers and this is going to be yet another Call of Duty game I won't be interested in.

After that, a reboot just called Call of Duty. Then a origins game the next year, Call of Duty Zero. After that Call of Duty DS for Down Sights. The entire game has you looking down the sights with every gun you pick up.

Just read up on the game in more detail.
The future tech the soldiers use is to run faster and jump higher thus turning into carbon copies of the soldiers you play as in Titanfall.
Sledgehammer is NOT developing the PS3/360 versions of the game. They have yet to announce who is.

Xbone vs. X360
It looks like Sledgehammer gave the developers the alpha version and told them to have at it...
