One for the N64 is linked here.I was surprised nobody ever talks about these but they are pretty much ROM loaders for which you use a SD card to port ROMs to which for most users results in have several games on a single cart. I've just been watching videos of guys that have over half of the entire N64 library on a single cart. Really cool stuff. Thanks to these we may never face the day when all our original cartridges die of old age and we are left with Roms on the PC. Had my N64 not up an died I would probably have one.

No one talks about them because no one has one of them.lol I couldnt believe the price when I first found out about them. For the money you could probably buy 10 of your favorite games on ebay.

I'm just thinking in a decade or so when working N64s and their respective cartridges get harder to come by these Everdrives will be the way of the future.
I mean between an Everdrive, and one of those Hyperkin N64 consoles our grandchildren can play N64 the way we did instead of having to turn to an emulator on a PC. I know it's unlikely a kid born today would ever be interested but since my own N64 took a crap and my old cartridges stoped game saving I've always wondered if there was a way around all that and this seems to be the closest thing.

Can you store save files on the Everdrives?

Yep. From what I've heard from these videos it saves to the card the ROMs are on so for instance, playing Goldeneye on an Everdrive plays identical to a dedicated cart to the original game.

What I mean is can you transfer save from you PC and vice versa, I would think you could. It would be a big plus if you could. Your Everdrive has as much potential to break as any of your other carts do tho.

It was an R4 I had JMM... Though I was talking to a guy in work today who had just picked up a 3DS and he has an emulation cart for it that works
