Coming to last-gen consoles and PC this fall, Escape Dead Island is being developed by Fatshark and is said to put a greater focus on stealth, strategy, and bizarre experiences in gameplay. You'll start off with no equipment and no immunity to the viral outbreak so it might be a more zombie sim-like experience than past games in the series that were more like zombie beat em' ups.

Yet another reason not to get next gen just yet, still lots of interesting games coming out for the 360. Does anyone else notice the COMPLETE rip off of the shinning carpet?
Thanks for the heads up on this Blade Runner.

In all honesty, the Shining carpet reference are getting old. From Pixar films, to various music videos, to this. I know The Shining is a great film. One of the best ever made. I know for some it's the cool thing to like it but couldn't we reference it in some other way. A hedge maze or something.
Sorry had to gripe on that a bit. Anyone else wish they would make a game based on The Shining where you play as those little girls from the story in the film? Like it could play like Alien: Isolation and the developers could map the entire hotel out as a place you get tormented by ghosts and eventually chased by the girls dad... Just an idea. Sounds absolutely terrifying to me.

I have to agree with the carpet thing, it is so over done and unless you are doing something different with it (which they arent in this game) then it is kind of off putting.

Another black and white "deep and moody" game? I'll pass. It looks too much of a ripoff of No More Heroes combined with Killer7 and WET.

I will reserve judgement for now.... I like how games are starting to talk about survival again tho.

I think you've said that before and I'm really happy you can still say that after Microsoft and Sony all but disowned 360 and PS3 respectively. At least the 3rd party's are still showing some love for the established demographic.
