How do I feel? Pretty excited.... it is one of the few resident evil games I haven't made a video on and I always wanted to so this will probably give me that push to make it. Resident Evil Remastered was a success so hopefully if Zero is too Capcom will consider remaking 2 or making more games like they used to.

Hell yeah! I am definitely excited for this. Resident Evil Zero was one of those games, like REmake, that was a success but it wasn't as successful as it could of been. And when you consider that Resident Evil Remastered was Capcoms highest digitally downloaded game of all time, I think that this could just be the push that Capcom needs to get serious about a RE2 remake. So in short yeah I'm excited for this!

What would be cool is if you could play this game co-op, you know the parts where you can play as both Rebecca and billy?

I've decided Resident Evil Remastered is due for a stream. Tonight at 3:00pm. Thats 1:00pm mountain time, and 8:00pm for our members across the pond. Check back here around then for the link on the Homepage.
Edit: It's over. Heres a highlight...

RE0 has a trailer!!!
Might be missing the point here, but I look at this and see a Resident Evil 2 remake being possible with these graphics. I wish.

Okay, this is pretty cool. Apparently (I didn't know) in the deal with Nintendo to get a few exclusive RE games, they started out development with an N64 version of RE0. Check out this video...

I first seen Resident Evil 0 in a N64 magazine, I still have that magazine and I was going to use it in a review I was working on. It would be cool if we could play the protoype when this comes out.

Very cool. It would be amazing to see the comparison throughout the game. This naturally leads me to hope that when we get Resident Evil 2 Remake next year, there will be an option to play it with either original or remake graphics. Everyone wants an RE2 remake to the point of begging.
Many only discovered REmake through the current generation versions, and a new generation is growing to appreciate the old-school formula. Of course this pleases me to almost no end but I think the next logical step is Resident Evil 2 remake. These kids want to know what happens next and doesn't want to watch youtube long-plays. Let's face it. Anyone under the age of 19 isn't going to spend the time and money to play these games. Our generation is spearheading the movement to preserve these games and they MUST be preserved.
The industry is still very young and studios and publishers are so busy squabbling over rights to this and that, there are sure to be some collateral damage. Goldeneye 64 is one of those lost in the fight, but Rare Replay, And Sonic Genesis collection give me hope. A little off topic there, but it's important.

I was chatting to someone about this the other day, I was thinking it was easy for capcom to remaster Zero and One because there were pretty nice looking games to begin with. Then I remember Resident Evil Code Veronica was out around the same time as Resident Evil 2 so if they could remake that they should be able to remake Res 2.
The difference is Code Veronica was a 3D engine so it might be hard to touch up all the prerendered backgrounds of RE2

I would say, replace the backgrounds entirely, recycle any salvageable assets from REmake for REmake 2, and create all new 3d models for what can't be recycled. A medium sized team could do this in 12 months.

I would buy just to have a physical copy of the latest remastering of these great games. Whesker mode sounds interesting as well. Both games better actually be on the disc though. It ridiculous what they lead you to assume these days.

Agreed, I only had the original remastered game on gamecube and 360 so it will be nice to have on the xbone too
