I really stopped caring after MW3. COD4 and MW2 were pretty solid FPS games so naturally I wanted to see the conclusion but it was obvious that West and Zampella were long gone before that game was developed. With that said, the only thing that could spark my interest in anything COD this year would be if they announced a COD: Modern Warfare Collection. Advanced Warfare's Exo movement was cool but the rest of the game was SSDD. I'm sick to death of future warfare. I think thats why Rainbow Six: Siege was so attention grabbing at E3 2014.
P.S. Speculation: The way this teaser advertises it, makes me wonder if the first two Blops play a bigger role in the package. I mean, we practically see the covers of the first two games there, then you get the roman numerals splitting from I, II, and III. I mean, what if the campaigns of the first two games were up res'd to 1080p and put on the disc alongside the new campaign, zombies, and multiplayer. I know leaked info suggest this is another run of the mill Campaign, multiplayer, zombies package, I know.
Just saying if Black Ops IIIs plot is really as deep rooted in the first two titles as the teaser suggests, the PS4/ONE arnt backwards compatible. It would stand to reason, and true Treyarch form, that we should get the kitchen sink in this game and what better way than the entire trilogy on a single disc. It's all blu-ray disc and digital now so it can be done very easily when you consider the length of these campaigns. Really, wouldn't that give the game a major bump in value.

No way the other games will be res'd up. Total waste of resources. Also not appealing.

Encouraging news if your a COD fan, they are actually having a multiplayer Beta for this one. I think that's the first in about 7 years.
Other changes include the reintroduction of co-op in campaign, character progression system, arena style gameplay, and a full Nazi Zombies campaign all included out of the box as apposed to Advanced Warfare's Zombie mode being paid DLC.

You know, after recently seeing a video of Battlefield: Hardline aimbot hacking, I would almost be tempted to go back to CoD... Especially if it doesn't have the prevalent connection issues

Call of Duty in general can be praised for relativly solid launches i kinda like the fact that they wont just fix it a week later because they know the foward momentum of the 1st week is important
other than that the games are solid and kinda fun... nothing ground breaking though

For some of us this is the only thing that makes COD relevant anymore. This time their bringing an all-star cast which includes a Jeff aaaaa Goldbloom. Kinda getting a 40s Chicago vibe from it.

I'll admit the zombies mode was really the only reason I got Black Ops. Didn't get BLOPS2 but was considering BLOPS3 until I saw that zombies mode is now really "monster mode."
Not super into the Cthulu monsters being passed off as "zombies."
I have the same problem when games have "special zombies," best example is Left 4 Dead's boomers, smokers, etc etc. Why can't it just be zombies?

If I remember right, BLOPS2 has standard zeds and a pretty decent zombie campaign. I am getting tired of the monster mode motifs. I didn't play these games but if I'm correct, Ghosts had aliens, Advanced Warfare had Exp Zombieode you had to buy as dlc, and now it's zombies and friends, in BLOPS3.

I feel that the special infected in L4D wasn't too bad considering the style of the rest of the game... In LOADS of other Zombie games, a single zombie could be trouble... hell, one of them catching you by surprise could be the end of you... But in L4D they just ran at you and it took 'em ages to bring you down... Without the special infected there would be nowhere near as much of a challenge or any sort of variety in what you had to do... If not for special infected in L4D you would just carve yourself a straight path to the exit without even stopping, and each special infected stopped that in different ways... Witches were there to slow your party down and be more cautious, avoiding her if possible, smokers generally had you back-tracking to save a team-mate, boomers added the pressure of potentially having a whole hoard coming at a single player and it became a "defend the guy" kinda scenario, and tanks just straight-up stopped any advancement until it was dealt with. Yes these kinda guys aren't /really/ needed in CoD Zombies, but lets face it, if you aren't gonna change the formula a little to see what works and what doesn't, you may as well just add new map DLC to older games

the normal zombies in l4d were mostly here to give the special ones time to attack and also because mowing down waves of those bastard feels really cool
also i really love black ops zombie mode so much in fact i bought the app on my android and to see it turn like this is wierd but ecxiting

In like the idea of just a few or even one catching you off guard could be the end. The the whole point in the origin of the zombie. It's the walking corps of the deceased person creeping along. There are only so many bullets, you can only run so far, and your outnumbered.
