Sounds good to me but it probably wont be easy maybe you should test out some of the stuff before doing it so you know how to do it on a more excperienced level

My ambitions for this game could change dramatically as more information is released but it looks like you can build levels from pre-set pieces and place enemy spawns on the map. Of course I'm not going to try and do this day one unless it's extremely easy. Perfect takes practice.

The thing about multi-player and balance though seems like you could be playing both perfectly balanced and heavily imbalanced games depending on the style of the multi-player and who made the map etc

I'm just kind taken by the fact that there is no ADS, regenerating health, sprinting, and it seems the game heavily encourages you to keep moving and shooting rather than stopping to regenerate health and avoid fire.
There's no higher chain of command barking orders in your ear or waypoints to tell you just how much of the level is left. Just you, a batch of hell-spawn, and a boom stick. Have fun.

If I can recreate Goldeneye levels, ill be sure and hide hard to get doom stuff around. This is doom, not Goldeneye. So just because enemy, level, and weapon placement are the same doesn't mean you would be limited to pistols and assault rifles.

Just watched the e3 playthrough again. I'm happy their waiting till next year to release this because if those graphics get any better, it's going to be hard to tell the difference. It's almost photo-realistic at times.

Love this fast paced action.
It kinda looks like Halo, but it's old school arena Halo, and I like that.

Polish, polish, polish. Thats what I say. I have a feeling what we've seen in the past of this game was worked on extensively for demo. This footage looks a bit rougher. Anyway, between the level editor, what we've seen from single player and now this, this game is on my radar more than ever now. Yeah and not an ironsight in sight. Really. I had to eagle eye the whole trailer just to make sure. No ironsights.

I will be honest this game wasn't on my radar at all, I didn't even watch the announcement trailer but now that I see it has no ironsights and run n gun gameplay this is a day one buy for me... Halo 5 on the other hand...

If this game barely appealed to me it would still be on my radar because it looks like one of the better if not best FPS coming in 2016.
Yeah, I'm sure the obligatory COD:Ghosts2 and FarCry will please who they need to but Doom is the ONLY FPS coming in 2016 that looks like it's aiming to be an unapologetic good time. At no point have I seen any forced adherence to modern FPS tropes. Arena style gameplay still works, and they know it. Still hoping to recreate Goldeneye in the Doom universe with this game. Nothing too deep, mainly level geometry, enemy spawns and weapon placements.
Personally, I get the itch to play a new FPS at least once a year, and this year is the first in a long time that I won't be playing one of the latest FPS games in week one. Until then I'm pretty much dabbling in the last two years of COD, Halo: The Master Bug Collection, and hoping to see a Wolfenstien Complete Edition ahead of Doom this next spring. Then my Xbone FPS list will be all caught up.
