I got the Halo Master Chief collection and it came with The new Batman and Oblivion on Shopto.net for £300 It worked out so much cheap to get it with those games and I should get at least £50 for the two games and keep halo.

The new batman? Your just gonna sell it? Thats a game thats been on my buy list for years. Oblivion? I don't follow. Why would they pack an old 360 title with an Xbox One?
There will likely be better backgrounds in the future. I had the Resident Evil achievement art (mansion staircase) as my background for a long time.
Congrats on the new console!

Nice, was gonna say I'd maybe take one of them off your hands if it was one I was after, but I'm not too bothered by either of them =p

I'm totally after Arkham Knight, I just don't have the budget to support a $60 purchase right now. I would urge anyone to consider playing it though.

In that case I might steal your background. I ordered an Xbox One today, it came with two free games which I hope to sell on Ebay to help pay for the console Its going to be a tight month! If it's anything like my X1, they aren't physical games, just download codes. Personally, I'd keep them because there really isn't a whole lot to play on the X1 right at the moment. Do what you gotta though! ----EDIT---- Did not see that this thread had another page of posts...

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is all you need JMM. I've been playing it off and on for the last 6 months and anyone whos bored of it, hasn't given it a good college try. If you achievement hunt the collectibles and Easter eggs in that collection, you will be busy until Rare Replay which should keep you busy until MGSV, which will keep you busy at least until Fallout 4 then in January, if you haven't overdosed on games, go pick up a physical copy of State of Decay as you wait for Resident Evil Zero.

Halo is a code but I want to keep it anyway. The Elder Scrolls Online (not Oblivion) and Arkham Knight are discs. I really need the money more that I need a new game right now. If I sell both for £60 that will bring the price of my console down quite a lot.

Well then I would suggest knocking $10 off the retail price of the respective games, and listing them for sale ASAP. The Arkham games are usually so mass produced that you'll be able to pick it up for $40 by holiday, and a year from now I can't see it selling for more that $30.
As much as I would urge you to give Arkham Knight a chance, I'm no stranger to a tight budget and having to play it safe with what you know. You can't go wrong with Halo: MCC. You know, as long as you don't try to play online in a party. I would even suggest taking $5 out of your Patreon money and putting it toward the ODST DLC if you're interested. I know if I had the chance, I would play them in order of CE-H2-ODST-H3 and maybe record a bit of it... for Patreon. Just saying.
P.S. Unless you wan't to be left with more questions than answers I would stick with the Bungie games and leave Halo 4 alone.

RARE REPLAY ACHIEVEMENT LISTSo it looks like if it came out on Xbox 360 or XBLA it's not getting any new achievements in Rare Replay. This means any Perfect Dark/Banjo/Viva cheevos currently on your gamertag, stay with you, and count toward unlocking extras in Rare Replay. Furthermore, during my Perfect Dark stream last week, in the first level elevator, I brought to light the scary suspicion that these games arnt even on the disc, and the disc might just be a download key that for those games, with Rare Replays interface acting as a hub. The fact that all the Rare Replay titles on Xbox 360 are currently available on Xbox One via backwards comp. suggests they may be beta testing those particular titles in the guise of the Xbox Preview program to insure they work through Rare Replay in august. It is also likely that backwards compatibility might be made available to the everyone as early as August 4th. Just a suspicion, but my friend at Rare Ltd. has said the 360 games are "running under the Xbox one's backward compatibility". This also means and has been CONFIRMED, that uploading your game saves to the cloud on Xbox 360 will make them available on the respectively on Xbox One provided your using the same gamertag. Needles to say, I would be greatly disappointed if there was a several GB day one update for this game, which essentially installs the Xbox 360 game to your XONE. P.S. I lost internet yesterday and decided to put my Xbox One through the paces to find that everything thats wasn't online dependent worked perfectly. I wasn't able to see if achievements were still a strictly online feature but besides that, it's an improvement over what it was in December.

"150 Rare Replay achievements worth 2,780" what happened to 10,000 Gamerscore!?

What they said was true, from a certain point of view. To fully take advantage of the 10,000, you need to have never played a Banjo/Dark/Pinata/Kameo game on Xbox 360.
I was really wanting some new achievements for Perfect Dark and maybe a cheevo overhaul for PDZ. 100%ing that games is just not worth the time. Oh well....
I'm just worried my fears are true, and the XBLA games arnt actually on the disc but rather just played through backwards comp. I wonder if a few cheevos will pop right when you boot Rare Replay for the first time as it reads your gamertag and identifies what you've played. If your aiming to 100% Rare Replay there may be certain game you may never need to play just because you 100%'d them on the Xbox 360.

"150 Rare Replay achievements worth 2,780" what happened to 10,000 Gamerscore!? 10K would be absolute BS considering that the standard was 1000GS / $60 to be fair.

Yeah, well. Did you see the gamerscore on The Master Chief Collection? Microsoft will bend the rules all they want to make the 1st party games better appeal to the achievement hunters.

10K would be absolute BS considering that the standard was 1000GS / $60 to be fair. M$ has proven quite often that bundled packages and DLCs have more than the traditional 1000 GS. However, I too balked at the 10,000 GS claim. It seemed much more likely that 30 games = 3,000 GS especially when you consider that many of these games are pretty small in content. Dont get me wrong, games like Banjo and Perfect Dark were great, but even they only had 200 GS.
