Good news guys , they are adding in co-op but just not at release.
They said they wanted to make a good single player experience and then add the social mechanics (which they will add in an update while making class 4) they didn't want to just make a game, say its multiplayer and sell heaps of units.

I saw that as well, but let's remember that Class 3 was always intended, from the beginning, to be a multiplayer test. They wanted to see how well a large scale multiplayer game would do in small controlled environments before moving onto large scale ones in Class 4. Cancelling not only a major part of your game, but the reason for it's existence in the first place bodes very badly for me. I'm not trying to be the doomsayer here, but if you were developing a product specifically for the purpose of relieving pain, and then had to pull it just a mere month before it's release because it actually caused more pain...well I'm just saying it doesn't look to good... /shrug

The co-op feature is going to be amazing, I've always been looking for that something extra from resident evil since the first one, and that's decent co-op I didnt quiet get that from RE zero an outbreak but that came close to it, and I've all ways wanted a new original RE game and as long as we have capcom I feel the most were going to see is remakes, but anyway I feel this is going a new zombie experience that's going to be great single player, amazing co-op.

I hope all we get from Capcom as far as Resident Evil goes are remakes. At this point they just plain suck and making anyting "new" for the series. I just want a sandbox full of REAL Zombies that I can play around in. Nothing over the top like Dead Rising. Rather, a Dawn of the Dead sim.

Its 4 player co op tho. I think that was always the plan 4 player co op class 3 mmo class 4 Sorry man. Multiplayer got cut from the game. I can't seem to find the original source (gotta leave for work soon), but this link will suffice. ClickyUnbelievable that they would scrap co op. That's a deal breaker for me.

Besides it could still be a deep, fun, lasting experience even without a multiplayer option to speak of.

Also guys It says on their site that every building is accessible w/o having to go through a loading screen unless obviously it is burned down or something. This is awesome news I think as it will definitely add much more realism to the game and if you are in an intense situation where you are getting supplies from a house and zombies are starting to notice you and you need to get out, you wont have to be interrupted by a loading screen
