Or hunt down demonic gods and choose to kill them or help them. or turn into a werewolf and fight a giant, any way the point im getting at is theirs allot of different ways to play this game, and to me being able to do one quest a dozen different ways is interesting. But that's just why i like it

There is nothing like building your character and enchanting items, gaining stronger weapons, and when you finally get as strong as you possible can, bring down a dragon with a single arrow. That makes the game.
You really get a sense of pride and power when you have perked up to the point that you can walk into a room full of enemies and take them all down with arrows before any one of them gets within 10 feet of you. Same goes when you take the said power and clear an entire dungeon using stealth. There is nothing like shooting guards from a distance just to go up, pull your arrow out of them and kill the next guy without ever alerting anyone of your presence.

It will suck your life away as any Elder Scrolls game worth it's name will
This is why I will never play it, I have too many things sucking my life away right now (thats what she said) but really I have far to many games to play that I havent finished..... I guess I could just not complete the games I already own but then who would respect me? would you? well jmm if you don't even have enough time to finish skyrim then you would never even come close to completing daggerfall.
