Reminds me of the scene with Vaas in Far Cry 3 and how tense it got. Love it that the coffee maker starts sparking. Thats so old school. Would love if when you shot electronics they exploded. Maybe via cheat code.

This part has clearly been influenced by the Nazi bar scene in Inglorious Bastards. Have you seen it Blade Runner? If so I am surprised you didnt compare it to that. I didnt even want to watch the full video in case it spoils the game when I play it It also somewhat reminds me of the part at the start of the Archives level in Goldeneye when you are behind a desk being question (just a little mind you)

Lol nope. It's funny how spotty my movie viewing is. It's no fault of my own. I live in a small town so we don't get everything in the theater and what does come is unpredictable. Inglorious Bastards was here in the theater for 2 weeks while Hunger Games 2 is STILL PLAYING!
Spoilers aside and over excited Goldeneye hopes on the table, I expect a train shoot out much like the Train level in Goldeneye 64 where you clear out cars to reach the end to either kill the Fräu or see her escape.

Done right it could be very fun, I am actually pretty excited about this now. The first time I watched Inglorious Bastards was on TV over here, it has been out for ages. You should maybe watch it before you play this.

You should have been around while we all were anticipating the release of Perfect Dark XBLA. That was the longest 9 months of MY life. What made it worse was there was no clear release date until the last 3 months. You could say the same of this game but with Perfect Dark we knew what we were getting and it was going to be awesome. We don't know with this game so the anticipation isn't nearly as big.

New trailer out today. This game is looking better all the time.
It was just announced that the Doom beta key you get for pre-ordering the game on any platform are only good for next-gen consoles. This means you get a key with your pre-order of the 360 version, but it's only good for Xbox One. This is good and bad. I mean it all but destroys the pre-order incentive they were trying to create with this beta for last-gen owners but at the same time, it's really nice to see the Rage engine breaking free from it's last-gen shackles becasue it really is a beautiful enging and I want to see it be all it can be. What do you think?

it doesn't really surprise me considering that more than likely doom 4 is being be made for next gen consoles only.

I might just pre order anyway and give my code away to someone on the forum who has a next gen console. MMCC is the only person who has one I think.

If there's anything I like better than killing Nazi's and referees pulling guns on football players it's Beta key's. Shut up and take my money Bethesda. and also shut up and make fallout 4.

Referring to in the trailer how the Germans got fouled on in a soccer (football sorry) game. Looks like the guy with the gun is the ref and the other team hurt a German player, death. Yeah.

I joke of course. I have nothing against football (both types this time) players...except for being paid far too much for what they do.

Yeah not to veer off the subject but it's insane the reasoning behind the multimillion dollar contracts those guys get. Sure, the body might be worse for wear by the time the contract is fulfilled and if the athlete is the sole provider for his family then as good of reasons as those are, one million dollars is enough for a family of five to live off of for a good 20 years.
I know several people whole strain there backs/knees/hips/shoulders on farms, construction sites, and factory's every day. Collectively, they will be lucky to have earned one million dollars between themselves and their spouse over the course of 60 years of work. Provided they live to see 80 years of age.
Okay I'm off the soap box now. This game looks fantastic. The production value alone is something to admire. I hope all these 60s pop songs make it into the game.
