i would love to see django unchained but i missed it in theaters but by far my favorite film is pulp fiction and reservoir dogs is close to a tie

I seen Django its no kill bill, loved both 1 & 2. For me Django just didnt stand up to the other recent western movies. like True Grit and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. If its a western you are after give either of those a watch instead

I seen Django its no kill bill, loved both 1 & 2. For me Django just didnt stand up to the other recent western movies. like True Grit and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. If its a western you are after give either of those a watch instead i cant say much on django's behalf but if you really want to watch a western i wouldn't look to modern westerns i would look to someone like sergio leone who did the man with no name trilogy (the good the bad the ugly, fist full of dollars, and for few a dollars more) his movies were excellent, although i did like the coen brothers remake of true grit i would say the western era is dying and im sad to see that happen

Dont get me wrong the old ones are great, unforgiven is another one that comes to mind but The Assassination of Jesse James even know it is modern is one of the best westerns ever made IMO and its one of the most accurate as to how life would have been back then.

I agree JMM. Growing up in the heart of America I got my fair share of everything country western. Honestly I don't much care for them but that Jesse James movie was great and held my interest well. True Grit is also a stand out film.

I haven't really watched any of Tarantino's work other then inglorious bastards (which I hated) and planet terror (which was a colab with Robert Rodriguez). I have a copy of pulp fiction lying around I'l have to get round to watching it....
